My house is being fumigated tomorrow because my housemate, Charmaine, has discovered bedbugs in her bed which refuse, even after changing the comforter, pillows, and bedding, to go away. This means that we are homeless for a night-- we're thinking of living it up in a swank Lusaka hotel and expensing it to CHAI. Actually, what I'm afraid what will happen is that our landlord, the charming but crazily cheap Mr. Tembo, will just spray down the house with Raid rather than actually fumigating it, and the bedbugs will creep across the hall from Charmaine's to my bed.
Am killing time at work waiting for my driver to pick me up after dropping off Charmaine at a meeting. Better update to follow!
