Hurrah, it's not all office work! Yesterday, I went and checked out this warehouse where we're storing a big shipments of RUTFs (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food, called Plumpynuts... a hilarious and unfortunate name. Basically high-calorie peanut paste for HIV+ kids.), and saw 10 million condoms. Heaps of them literally, stacked in boxes of 500 from floor to ceiling.
Need to get an insecticide-treated bednet (ITN). Just found out today after meeting with a bajillion (4) malaria bigwigs that Zambia is approaching the 80% target for ITN usage (I actually think this is not true, but so says the official report.)! I was embarrassed that I was in the 20% minority who are stupid, not using one, and almost certainly getting malaria.
